About Us

Riverside Pediatrics is located on the water in Cos Cob, Connecticut in the beautiful new Beacon Point Marina. Our office is located in the new medical office building and was specifically designed by Dr. Beckman to meet the needs of patients and their parents.  We have unlimited free parking directly in front of the building. We created separate well and sick waiting areas to prevent well children from contracting illness while visiting the office. Our office is "safety-proofed" and we have a flat screen television showing popular children's programs together with plenty of new books and toys.

Our patients are advised to select a primary pediatrician to perform physicals and sick visits whenever possible. Our physicians feel that this will allow them to get to know their patients well, which allows for more personalized care and better continuity of care. Our staff was hand-selected to ensure that our patients would always be treated with kindness, compassion and competence.

At Riverside Pediatrics, everyone's time is considered valuable. An office goal is to provide personalized, comprehensive healthcare without an excessive wait. Our staff does everything possible to avoid overbooking and to minimize your time in the waiting room. Please advise our receptionist as to the number of issues you'd like to discuss with the physician and also the number of children you would like seen when making an appointment so that we can allow ample time in the schedule to meet your needs.

Dr. Karen Beckman: highly efficient Spanish
Dr. Henry Rascoff: conversant Hebrew
Dr. Gretchen Crist: efficient Spanish
Dr. Svenja Resto: fluent German, conversant Spanish
Dr. Katherine Noble: conversant Japanese

All physicians are fluent in English.
